State Horseshoe Tournament

The Ohio State Moose Association Horseshoe Tournament will be held at the Sylvania Moose Lodge.   Members from all over Ohio and Michigan will be joining us for the weekend! Please see attached files for more information on play times, food, specials, music, DJ and Karaoke times.

We need SEVERAL volunteers to help throughout the weekend: 

• cooking and/or serving food

• selling 50/50’s,  

• collecting money for food sales,  

• trash detail,  

• shuttling players back and forth to their hotel,  

• and I’m sure many other things we haven’t even thought about yet! 

If you have a high school or college-age child/grandchild, we also need scorekeepers. Adults are welcome too! A little bit of knowledge of horseshoe scoring helps, but isn’t necessary.  We will train you on how the scoring is done at the tournament level, which is different than a typical game. Players tip the scorekeepers, so it’s a nice way to earn a little extra cash!  We will have a sign-up list posted on the Sports Board by the pool table. 

We’ll be serving food, having raffles, have outdoor DJ music, and just loads of fun the whole weekend!! Come and help us welcome our new friends from different lodges – and enjoy a great weekend!!  Any questions, please contact Marsha Warrington, Dave, or Shannon Sullivan.
